About
Eneri began the way so many good things do, quietly, at home, and purely for the joy of creating.
In early 2020, I started making candles as a hobby, drawn to the ritual of pouring wax, blending fragrances, and creating something with my hands. What began as a creative outlet soon turned into something more. After lots of encouragement, by 2021, I officially launched Eneri (then under the name Honeycomb Essence, if any OG's remember) as a candle decor brand rooted in intention, craft, and serenity.
From the very beginning, sustainability has been at the heart of everything I create. I design each candle and decor piece with thoughtfully sourced materials, prioritizing natural waxes, non-toxic fragrances, and local suppliers whenever possible. Every product is meant to feel like a pause button, something that softens your space, slows your day, and brings a sense of peace through all of the senses.
But Eneri has always been about more than objects.
Alongside building my candle business, I found myself drawn to storytelling, sharing the rituals that make every day feel special, the small habits that bring clarity, and the places that inspire me most. Growing up in New York City shaped the way I see the world, and I love highlighting the cozy corners, great food spots, creative neighborhoods, and hidden gems that make this city feel endlessly alive. That love for NYC now lives both on my blog and across my social content, where lifestyle, creativity, and local discoveries meet.
Lately, I’ve been intentionally weaving those two worlds together.
My goal is to let Eneri become not just a shop, but a space where curated products sit alongside thoughtful writing—where cozy rituals, mindful living, and creative inspiration all belong under one roof. Whether I’m sharing a new candle collection, a favorite takeout spot, or a mindset shift that changed my week, it all comes back to creating a life that feels calm, beautiful, and deeply personal.
Thank you for being here, for reading, for shopping, and for building a slower, more intentional everyday with me.
With love,
Irene
